Would you like to hear about an amazing community collaboration that we've been helping with? I promise it'll give you a smile on a gloomy Friday.

Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the amazing creativity of Heather Henson and Elizabeth Haigh, the Boyle County Public Library is heading up a Very Cool Project in partnership with the Danville and Boyle County Schools.

Heather and Elizabeth are working with 80 students across the two high schools on a "literary soundscape" project. Students are reading and discussing Heather's book "Wrecked" - generously donated by the publisher, Simon & Schuster. Then they're working with Elizabeth to create sound art in response to literary text by recording and mixing ambient sounds. (It's something one of the characters in the book does...)

The finished pieces will be exhibited at the Boyle County Public Library in December. If you'd like to learn more about the project, there was a nice piece in the newspaper about it this week. Link below!

I never know which photo to go with when posting a I never know which photo to go with when posting about our anniversary. So many photos, so many memories. Tim and I are celebrating 33 years of marriage today. Crazy, right?!!? Especially since we could’ve easily never met in the vastness of NYC. What if I hadn’t gone to that particular bar (2A) on that particular night? What if neither of us had looked up at just the right moment for our eyes to meet across (a very crowded) room. Happy Anniversary, baby! Here’s to another 33. ❤️🍾🥂💃🕺🏻🎉❤️

My dad, aka, the Colonel (as in KY Colonel) and Happy Chandler, former KY Governor and US Senator (Democrat!!!), and second Commissioner of Baseball. I’ve wanted to share this with my sweet friend, writer/actress/publisher extraordinaire, Erin Chandler, for awhile and thought it was especially synchronistic now since Erin and her marvelous Rabbit House Press are helping get the word out about my brother’s first novel! (The novel is “Loud Water,” avail lots of places.) (Oh, and that hair??? Wow. You know it’s the ‘80’s! 🤣🤣) #tbt
